Oysters harvested from British Columbia, Canada harvest area BC 17-20 (Nanoose Bay) CLF #1401656 are being recalled due to posing a health threat. The product includes all raw oysters harvested between December 22, 2025, and February 4, 2026. Previous harvest dates are 12/30/2025, 1/20/2026, 1/26/2026, and 1/29/2026. According to FoodBeast,
“Between April and September 2025, the FDA reported a 75.8% increase in food recalls, according to data from Sedgwick Brand Protection, while the USDA reported a 5,511.8% increase in pounds of food product recalls.”
