Authorities are investigating the death of a 43-year-old woman who suffered a medical emergency while in custody at a San Bernardino County detention facility, officials announced Wednesday.
Deputies at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga were alerted to the emergency around 10:54 p.m. Monday, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
