LAKELAND, Fla. — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says a man was caught on video wearing a black gown and no shoes, crawled underneath the roll-up door of a storage unit and took two suitcases that didn’t belong to him.
Investigators say it happened Feb. 2 at Safer Self Storage on Highway 92 East in Lakeland, when the manager reported that a theft had taken place.
Deputies say they identified 33-year-old Travis Lee Lowery as the man seen in the gown. They caught up with him the next day and arrested him…
