ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police announced the arrest of two men over the weekend after they drove away from police during a traffic stop. However, officers had attached a GPS tracker to their car and were able to find and arrest them.
According to police officers, they tried to stop a car at E. State and Mulford around 11 p.m. on Friday, but the driver fled. A StarChase tracker was launched and attached to the car, allowing authorities to locate it in the 2900 block of Chadwick Drive.
Three occupants of the car got out and ran when police arrived…
