Student faces charges after bringing weapon to Middleton High School

MIDDLETON, Wis. — A 15-year-old student faces charges after bringing a weapon to Middleton High School Wednesday.

The Middleton-Cross Plains School District said the student was in possession of a CO2-powered air pistol, a replica firearm that shoots small metal pellets. School resource officers responded immediately and were assisted by other officers from the Middleton Police Department.

There is no active threat to the high school. The incident remains under investigation…
