TULSA, Okla. — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in collaboration with America250, donated a semi-truck full of food to the Tulsa Day Center and Broken Arrow Neighbors.
America250 is a nonpartisan congressional commission that works to engage Americans in celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Church said it is collaborating with America250 on initiatives focused on building common relationships, discovering family history, and increasing community service.
As part of this initiative, a semi full of food was delivered to the Tulsa Dream Center on Wednesday morning. Missionaries helped volunteers and employees unload the food and repalletize so that it could be shared and delivered to another local nonprofit, Broken Arrow Neighbors…
