BOISE, Idaho — One of Boise’s most prominent shopping centers is implementing a change: paid parking.
The Boise Towne Square Mall began paid parking in select spots on Jan. 29. There are roughly 5,000 spots on the property: only about 50 are paid, which is around 1% of total spots.
The cost for the paid spots is $2.45 for the first hour, and $2 for every following hour, according to Claudia Ilagan, public relations manager for GGP, the landlords for Boise Towne Square Mall. The spots are located near the mall’s main entrance, by H&M and The Cheesecake Factory…
