It is going to be a challenging Thursday morning commute with accumulating snow overtop of ice. Another low will round the corner of the main trough early Thursday morning, first bringing snow to the Sierra then the valley. The track of the low will play a big role in who in the valley sees the most snow. As of now, it will favor Reno over Minden, but it will be something to watch.
It will be cold enough for all snow, so regardless of how much snow we get it will be slick Thursday morning. Snow totals will range from 2-4 inches in the lower elevations…..
