Update: Dense fog advisory issued for 9 Michigan counties until Thursday midday – limited visibility

An updated dense fog advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. EST in effect until noon EST for Huron, Sanilac, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne counties.

The weather service adds to be ready for, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”

“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” explains the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
