Columbus billboards target the dangers of fentanyl, opioid misuse

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Drivers in Columbus might’ve recently seen billboards with a bleak message: “Fentanyl is poison.”

The billboards, which include phrases like, “Use Narcan to save lives,” and “Know the facts about opioid misuse,” are part of a recent push by the Opioid Awareness Project, a collaborative effort between Columbus State University, Morehouse School of Medicine and other partners.
