ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Two men have been arrested for robbery and attempted murder a week after a shooting that left an 18-year-old injured, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
Police identified the two suspects as Charles Hinton, 18, and Christopher Tonsel, 22. Tonsel was shot by police in an unrelated incident in 2021 and had just been released from prison last year.

According to detectives, on Feb. 11, Hinton and Tonsel met up with two other people in the parking lot of the Citrus Grove Apartments, located off 15th Street South.
The two suspects got into the backseat of a car, while the two other people sat up front. At some point, Hinton is believed to have pulled out a gun and fired a shot that struck the front passenger, an 18-year-old man, in the back of the neck…
