Pawtucket council continues hearing to allow neighborhood input on metals facility

PAWTUCKET – Many Fairlawn residents in the area of 55 Concord St. did not know about a plan to establish a metals recycling facility there prior to last Wednesday, said City Councilor Marlena Martins Stachowiak at a meeting that evening.

Tenessa Azar, attorney for applicant Edward Jamieson, of Allied Recycling Center Inc., said Jamieson has been in business for more than 20 years in Walpole, Mass., and this would be a satellite location for the company.
