WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A woman is still hoping to identify the man who tried to kidnap her nearly a year ago while she worked as an overnight clerk at a Scotchman store on Carolina Beach Road.
Kinsey Jones said the attack happened around 3 a.m. when a man entered the store and spent about 10 minutes in the bathroom. When he came out, he approached Jones, saying something was wrong with the toilet.
“I just kind of peeked my head in there, and I was like, there’s nothing wrong with the toilet, and I looked at him, and then immediately, my heart sank, cause something’s wrong,” Jones said. “He just goes, ‘I guess it’s fixed now’ with this really eerie look on his face.”…
