Fuego Tortilla Grill, a Texas-based taco chain, will open its first Louisiana location in March, according to a news release.
The fast-casual taco chain currently has six locations, with five in Texas and one in Arkansas. The menu features tacos, bowls, desserts and margaritas.
On March 3, a seventh location will open inside a newly constructed building at 805 W. Lee Drive in Baton Rouge, which is next to Panda Express and across the street from Waffle House.

The menu features chicken, beef and seafood tacos like the Southern Comfort, with fried chicken, chipotle cream corn, potato, grilled onions and country pepper gravy. There’s also the Mango Tango with shrimp, mango pico de gallo, jack cheese, guacamole and Cholula tartar…
