For the first time in more than 20 years, a new trail ride will join the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s official lineup.
The True Western Trail Ride Association, based in Brookshire, is making its debut this season. Established in 2025, the group will travel about 89 miles with approximately 150 riders in its first year of participation. The addition expands the roster of recognized trail rides to 12.
