OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Gov. Jim Pillen has granted Omaha Mayor John Ewing Jr. the authority to lower all U.S. and Nebraska flags lowered in Omaha on Saturday in honor of Mike Yanney, who died over the weekend.
Yanney, the founder of Burlington Capital, died on Saturday, Feb. 14, at age 92. Wednesday’s order lowers flags on Saturday, Feb. 21, the date of Yanney’s interment.
