LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A portion of 27th Street is blocked off as Lincoln Fire and Rescue (LFR) battles a fire at Al Nor Market near 27th and Vine streets.
Crews were first called to the shop at 27th and Pear streets at 10:27 p.m. Wednesday, and the response was quickly upgraded. LFR said initial reports indicated there were flames and the smoke was from floor to ceiling.
Battalion Chief Bob Watton said crews were dispatched after reports of smoke inside the structure. Officers with LPD arrived on scene before firefighters and confirmed there was an active fire in the building…
