25-acre Priest site to get new life as industrial space

A sizable parcel on the southern edge of the Fountainhead development on Priest Drive south of Broadway Road appears headed for new life after sitting vacant for 15 years.

Known as the Priest-Alameda Project, the 25-acre site at 2750 S. Priest Drive, on the southwestern corner of Alameda Drive, won unanimous rezoning from Tempe City Council on Feb. 5 that paves the way for the cluster of office buildings now on the site to be razed in favor of two large single-level industrial buildings.
