Deadline for Mission Hospital to place procedures removing ‘immediate jeopardy’ approaches

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) gave Mission Hospital the deadline of Wednesday, Feb. 18, to put in place procedures to remove its ‘immediate jeopardy’ designation.

Surveyors returned to Mission Hospital last week to review procedures and processes outlined in the hospital’s enhanced plan of correction submitted to CMS.
