EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) — Columbia County is experiencing new growth with several retail developments in the works, but not all residents are welcoming the changes.
A proposed retail development along Sir Galahad Drive in Evans has drawn opposition from neighbors in the Camelot neighborhood. The plan includes a major shopping center across from the Evans Post Office with a 51,000-square-foot grocery store, smaller shops and a two-story medical office building.
