University of Michigan in talks to buy former Ann Arbor campus from Christian college

ANN ARBOR, MI – The University of Michigan is in discussions with Concordia University on potentially purchasing the Christian college’s former Ann Arbor campus on Geddes Road.

The negotiation is in the preliminary phase and “significant due diligence is required before any decisions are made about the property or its potential use,” UM spokesperson Paul Corliss told MLive/The Ann Arbor News.

The discussions remain in the early stages, and “no final decisions have been made,” Susan Suleski, spokesperson for Concordia University Wisconsin, said in a statement. The school has engaged in preliminary discussions with UM about the future of the property, she said…
