ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — Two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of an 18-year-old man at a St. Petersburg apartment complex.
Charles Hinton and Christopher Tonsel face charges of attempted murder in the first degree and robbery with a deadly weapon, according to a press release from the St. Petersburg Police Department. The incident occurred on February 11 at the Citrus Grove Apartments, located in the 700 block of 15th Street South.
Shortly before 5 p.m., the victim and another man met Hinton and Tonsel in the parking lot. The victim was seated in the front passenger seat of a sedan when Hinton and Tonsel entered the back seat. Hinton then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the back of the neck…
