The United Parcel Service is closing its Midlands hub in West Columbia.
The closure is one of nearly two dozen locations slated to be shuttered in more than 18 states, including facilities in Georgia, Florida and Texas, according to reporting by trade magazine Fast Company. Those plans were revealed in a court filing earlier this week.
