Suspect returned to Moore to face charges in Woodlake double homicide

Suspect Caleb Fosnaugh has been brought back to Moore County to face charges in the recent Valentine’s Day double homicide in the Woodlake community.

“Moore County Sheriff’s Office investigators transported Caleb Fosnaugh from Ohio to Moore County today after he waived extradition, in connection with the February 14, 2026 double homicide in the Woodlake community of Vass,” reports the Moore County Sheriff’s Office in a press release. “Fosnaugh has been formally charged with felony Breaking and Entering and two counts of Murder.”

On Feb. 14, Kateryna Tovmash, a Ukrainian refugee, 21, of Vass, and Matthew Wade, 28, of Hamilton, Mississippi, were found dead inside a Woodlake residence. Wade was stationed at Fort Bragg at the time of his death…
