Grand Rapids, Michigan – Wind gusts up to 45 mph will ramp up by midmorning Friday across western and south-central Michigan, creating crosswinds on major highways and the potential for isolated power outages through the evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids, a Wind Advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST Friday for Ottawa, Kent, Ionia, Clinton, Allegan, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun and Jackson counties.
