LAKELAND, Fla. — Planned Parenthood of Florida will be shutting down its health center in Lakeland next month.
The organization confirmed the closure on its website, stating patients can obtain their records at the Lakeland location through March. 13. The final day of medical services by appointment only will be March 6.
The health center offered several services, including STD testing and treatment, vaccines, pregnancy testing and planning, as well as birth control and other sexual and reproductive health care. The Lakeland location did not offer abortion services…
