Just before 10:30 Wednesday night LFR crews were sent to the Al Nor Market near 27th and Vine. “There were reports of heavy smoke in the building and flames seen by several people,” says LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman tells KLIN News.
Lierman says the fire was under control just before 11:15 pm and no one was injured. While the official cause is not known, Lierman says the fire is being investigated as suspicious. The damage amount is not yet known.
LFR crews also responded to a house fire near 58th and M Street around 10:30 Wednesday night. Lierman says the fire started in a bedroom and two residents were transported to the hospital for evaluation…
