Frisco’s $182 Million Toyota Stadium Renovation Clears Major Construction Milestone

A steel beam is about to become part of North Texas sports history. On Feb. 18, leaders gathered at Toyota Stadium to mark a major construction milestone: the “topping out” of the stadium’s new east-side structure.

During the ceremony, Mayor Jeff Cheney, city officials and representatives from FC Dallas joined project partners in signing the final steel beam before it’s installed high above the growing framework.

The moment marked a symbolic turning point as the long-planned transformation of one of North Texas’ most recognizable sports venues moves from early demolition and groundwork into its vertical build phase.
