Omnifest returns to the Science Museum of MN, with 5 movies showcasing nature’s beauty

Science lovers rejoice. Omnifest is back at the Science Museum of Minnesota from Feb. 26 through April 5.

It’ll bring in five films showcasing nature’s staggering beauty across the 90-foot, domed Omnitheater screen. This year’s festival will take viewers to every bit of natural beauty that humans have experienced, from the ocean’s depths to the vast vacuum of space

The lineup includes “Apollo 11: First Steps Edition,” the Morgan Freeman-narrated “Into America’s Wild,” “Oceans: Our Blue Planet,” “Volcanoes: Fires of Creation,” and “Lost in Space: A Stellar Tours Adventure.”

Each of them will play repeatedly throughout the nearly six-week run at the St. Paul museum…
