Man killed in truck crash in Brighton

BRIGHTON, Colo. — Police are investigating a crash in Brighton Wednesday morning that left a man dead.

The Brighton Police Department said officers were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 near East Bromley Lane at around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday after a caller reported a box truck rolling over on its side, blocking both lanes of traffic.

Police said the 24-year-old man driving the truck had been ejected and had serious injuries when officers found him. He was taken to the hospital, where he died a short time later…
