As Denver ramps up photo radar enforcement, here are 10 places you’re most likely to get a ticket

DENVER — The Denver Police Department is training civilian employees to operate photo radar vans as the city moves to expand speed enforcement, a push Mayor Mike Johnston has tied to both public safety and putting a small dent in a roughly $200 million budget shortfall.

Johnston announced the plan last September while presenting his proposed city budget.

“We will increase some of the use of our photo radar enforcement as a way to increase safety in terms of speed all around the city and will also have a modest impact on revenue,” Johnston said…
