Salt Lake City, Utah – Snow will begin spreading into southwest Utah this afternoon, quickly expanding across central and southern parts of the state and creating hazardous travel along major highways before the Friday morning commute.

According to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City, a Pacific Northwest storm system will push steady snowfall into the region Thursday afternoon, continuing overnight before tapering Friday morning.
