COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is looking for homes for some of its “lonely hearts.”
The humane society is hosting a dog speed at its Colorado Springs shelter on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (February 20, 21 and 22, 2026) in an attempt to find homes for some of their dogs that haven’t yet met their perfect matches.
HSPPR said each day, they’ll host two rounds of speed dating, which will be made up of six potential adopters and six “lonely-hearted dogs.” Those who want to participate will have to take a ticket, which are first come, first served.
