SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -Springfield Utility Board (SUB) has secured nearly $10 million from Oregon’s Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund to bolster the McKenzie River Water Supply Project. This funding aims to enhance Springfield’s long-term water reliability.
According to SUB, the funding includes a $3 million forgivable loan, with the remainder offered at low interest. This financial support will aid in completing project design and permitting while reimbursing past expenses.
