TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A Tucson airman and his spouse have been indicted for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from the federal government.
The U.S. Department of Justice said Staff Sgt. Richard Stefon Ramroop and Manuel George Madrid were indicted on 12 counts of conspiracy to commit theft of government property, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.
The 35-year-old Ramroop and the 32-year-old Madrid, both of Tucson, allegedly stole the money to “curate and maintain a luxurious lifestyle.” They were indicted by a federal grand jury on Feb. 11…
