BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (KPTV) – Battle Ground Police searched a home on Tuesday as part of an investigation into several animals that were reportedly shot with blow darts.
Investigators served a search warrant in the 100 block of SE 17th Way, where they say two blowguns were found.
The investigation began on Nov. 1, according to Battle Ground Police, when officers responded to reports of multiple young men shooting raccoons and squirrels with a blow dart gun in neighborhood near South Parkway Avenue and SE 17th Way.
Since then, there were additional reports of raccoons, squirrels, and an adult deer that were shot with blow darts in the same area.
Neighbors also say they saw unknown people shooting pellet guns and possibly a .22-caliber rifle in that area…
