WEST SAND LAKE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Shortly after 3 A.M. on February 19, the West Sand lake Fire Department received a call that the 43 Mall Shopping Plaza was on fire. As of right now, we know that fire destroyed four businesses, and damaged two others.
“Upon arrival, we had heavy fire coming from the roof area over the crossroads grill, within three minutes, there was a collapse, and it did come down on a firefighter,” stated West Sand Lake Fire Chief, Lee Crosier.
Thankfully, that firefighter is expected to be OK. According to the chief and codes enforcement, the fire this morning devastated businesses like Smoke Boulevard, Crossroads American Grill, Unbreakable Nutrition, and Warner and Foley Inc.
