ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — America is marking its 250th birthday this year. The road to this milestone is paved with entrepreneurs who started small, only to grow, ultimately achieving the American dream. That’s certainly true for Spicewalla and its founder, Meherwan Irani. The Asheville business owner started with one restaurant and now has a spice empire.
However, the Spicewalla founder describes himself as more of a food enthusiast than a chef.
