A 19-year-old Upstate NY man allegedly stabbed his grandmother to death while 3 children were home

A 19-year-old Upstate New York man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of his grandmother while three juveniles were present in the home.

Miguel A. Castro Jr. was arraigned Tuesday afternoon before Tonawanda Town Court Justice J. Mark Gruber on one count of murder in the second degree, one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane.
