PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WTVM) – The Phenix City School System has opened a new professional development center to support its educators and students.
The center is housed in a renovated space that was previously an old cafeteria. Interim Superintendent Nathan Walters said the transformation reflects the district’s commitment to its teachers.
“We took old dilapidated cafeteria and turning into the professional development for all of our teachers so that they can come have a place to unite as one together in one place and so again so they can learn the techniques they need to go teach the future leaders of America, which is our students,” Walters said…
