GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A bald eagle was released on Thursday after Gainesville police rescued the bird from a dumpster this month.
Officers say the eagle was recovering at the Nature World Wildlife Rescue Sanctuary in Citrus County over the past few weeks.
