‘Impacts peace of mind’: Fresno workers in limbo since health insurance contract expired

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Thousands of City of Fresno employees remain in healthcare limbo, nearly three weeks after Blue Shield California’s contract expired with Community Health System.

The city says over 4,200 employees and their families are among those without in-network coverage at Community locations since the expiration.
