A Kentucky man who won a $167 million Powerball jackpot in 2025 has been arrested.

James Farthing, 50, was taken into custody on Wednesday, Feb. 11, accused of intimidating a participant in a legal process, according to the Louisville Courier Journal, which cited a Scott County Sheriff’s Department arrest citation.

The citation says a woman contacted authorities after meeting Farthing for a prearranged date. She told police she felt pressured to take a “gummy” and was unsure what it contained, the report said. She also claimed people at a residence wanted to hurt her…
