NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Nashville officials said Wednesday that the city’s Warner Parks remain closed as thousands of trees remain downed from last month’s ice storm.
Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation said that about 6,000 trees remain downed or destroyed across the city’s parks system. About 2,000 of those trees are in Warner Parks, otherwise known as The Edwin and Percy Warner Parks.
The department said that there are nine tree crews and 125 employees working on cutting and piling trees throughout the Nashville parks system…
