Tiansal Conteh travels from East Flatbush to her job in Hudson Yards, sometimes by subway and sometimes by the pricier express bus. The city’s half-price transit program, Fair Fares, has helped her manage the cost.
“New York City is a really expensive place to live. And not having to worry about getting around has been really, really helpful,” said Conteh. “And I’m really grateful for programs like this.”
