BEDFORD, Va. (WSET) — Several empty buildings sit in Downtown Bedford, and people say they are not only an eyesore, they are also starting to take a toll on businesses in the area.
Patti Wilkerson, owner of Frederic’s Flowers, said she has seen three shops close within the past year. When storefronts sit empty, she said, foot traffic slows down.
