ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke County Public Schools (RCPS) has revealed the names of its new assistant superintendents, with their positions taking effect July 1.
Dr. Haley Poland, current assistant superintendent for Roanoke City Public Schools, will circle back to the county as the new assistant superintendent of student services.
Poland started her educational career in the Valley as a school counselor at RCPS in 2010. She was later coordinator of school counseling services and eventually became director of school counseling at RCPS, where she was ultimately named the assistant superintendent in 2014…
