Authorities identify victim in deadly downtown San Diego stabbing

(FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) has identified a man who was stabbed in downtown San Diego outside of Hotel Churchill, a residential facility for low-income, formerly incarcerated or homeless individuals, on Valentine’s Day.

On Saturday, just before 9:30 p.m., San Diego police responded to the intersection of 8th Street and C Street, where someone had reportedly been stabbed on the sidewalk.

When police arrived, they found an adult man on the sidewalk with apparent stab wounds.
