San Bruno: Affiliates Of ‘Squatter Removal’ Service Arraigned For Middle-Of-Night Forcible Removal Of Family

The proprietor of a San Francisco-based “squatter removal” service and an associate were arraigned Wednesday for allegedly forcibly entering a residential property in San Bruno last month and removing the family that was living there.

According to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office, on Jan. 6, James Jacobs and Arthur Gutierez Jr., along with a third individual identified by prosecutors as “Angelmike Va Regalado,” used a battering ram to enter a home in the 200 block of Allen Drive at 2:30 a.m. According to the District Attorney’s Office, they were brandishing weapons and forced the five people inside to leave.

Inside the property at the time, according to prosecutors, was a man who had lived in the home for 45 years. His mother, the former property owner, was deceased and the property had been sold, but the man continued to live there with his family. He had not been evicted…
