Syracuse man charged with first-degree robbery, other crimes after stabbing incident

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Officials are investigating a stabbing and robbery incident reported Thursday, Feb. 19, at the intersection of Seymour Street and S. West Street.

Officers responded around 6:41 p.m. to a report of a stabbing with injuries. When police arrived, they found a 32-year-old man suffering from an apparent stab wound to the leg. The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

A 29-year-old man, identified as Maurice Crowley, was then arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the stabbing incident…
